Hot Concrete on a Hot Summer Night!

By the evening of July 11th, the foundation boards were set and the concrete was poured and finished. Many people have asked: "How can we build the home so quickly after the foundation was poured?" TXI donated a special concrete generally reserved for commercial applications called "quick set concrete." The concrete literally dries and cures within hours, which allowed us to continue work on the home without pause.
